This is Blaze our new red Beardie who we got from Steve (Living Rain Forest) as a mate for Flame, he arrived 10 days ago and has settled in really well, he has a bit of filling out to do to catch up on Flame but judging by his appetite he will soon get there

Oh hes lovely John. So will they live together from now on, I think they are two rather stricking looking beardies. Well done on the new edition.

No Flame actually lives with Phoenix, a normal colour female, we only put them together for the pics. Flame is still too small to breed with and we want to grow her on for at least another 6 months. Phoenix is nearly big enough and we are thinking that perhaps by the end of the summer we might try putting her in with Gizzmo.

No problem Emma, but when are you going to get a female B & W Tegu and produce some babies too, We know where there is a young female in N I if you are interested
We could then swap for red beardies, yellow continentals etc.

O dont! I really need my extension built, as I am slowly running out of room-am picturing numerous b&w tegus running around-i had enough fun with the 90 baby beardies!
