Breeding veiled chameleon
Recently got a 1.5yr old male chameleon and 2 female chameleons around the same age. Put the male with a female to see if she's be receptive to the male. She was receptive and they did the business. Horny devil he was too lol.
2 days later I done the same with the other female. Both are displaying gravid colours. The females have been housed together from young and I have them housed together at the minute. They both get along great, but will I need to seperate them now that they're (hopefully) gravid, or will I need to seperate them when I put nest box in? Or will they be fine to keep together? They were bred 2 days apart.
Thanks

Re: Breeding veiled chameleon
I would imagine you'd need different nest boxes, even if only so you know who's eggs are belong to who, and also you'll need to make extra sure that they aren't competing for food whilst they are gravid :]

Re: Breeding veiled chameleon
This is an old thread. I seperated them into seperate vivs as they got very territorial after they became gravid lol.
