Nice to hear from you again trunx, seems like I remember you talking about pet "holes" and tarantulas, is that a coloured stone or your tort? :) in the middle of a really nice tort table.
Seriously glad to see that hibernation went well, we didn't hibernate ours this winter as we got them so late in the year.

You have really got us worried! We are considering getting a black and white Tegu (which we keep visiting in our local pet shop) and had thought that a 6 x 3 viv would have been big enough, given that they can grow up to 4 feet in length and your tort will only get to 8" we probably need to
have a rethink! Rolling Eyes

Hi Trunx

Torts are doing really well thanks, one female is outgrowing the other and is now as big if not bigger than the male. The strange thing is that the smallest is also the bossiest.

Do you still have your Colombian B & G, I have read that they can be quite nasty and that the Argentinian
B & W are much easier to handle. This would be our first tegu if we do go ahead so any hints or advice would be much appreciated
Regards
John
No word of Gary coming back onto the forum too?
